Anjalie Pieres MA, LMHC

Welcome!

The concept of a 'Garden of Good Things' seeks to cultivate a vibrant life that feels within your control and caters to your specific needs. How would you envision the garden of your life today? What could it look like in the future? I will help you realise it to the best of my abilities.

I am a licensed Mental Health Counselor specializing in Art Therapy based in Boston, MA, offering clinical treatment to people who experience complex and systemic trauma, mood disorders, and issues of identity (race, gender, sexuality, culture.)

Finding a therapist can be stressful. There are so many to choose from, all with different personalities, modes of treatment, and different price ranges. Whether this is your first time or you're someone who's been in therapy for years, it can be hard to find the perfect fit.

I offer a free 15 minute consultation to answer any questions you may have. If we move beyond this step, our first session will be an intake to determine areas of focus and treatment goals.

Traumatic experiences have a way of shackling themselves to the body, whether they are accumulated over time or single incidents which compromised our safety. We seek to protect ourselves from a world that failed to protect us, often coping in ways that hurt in the long run. In our work together we will identify sources of pain, the impact they have on your life, & determine ways to reclaim power so that your body becomes a place of safety rather than a site of trauma.

Art Therapy can offer new perspectives for healing. Let’s learn to play again & enjoy the freedom of creating something meaningful rather than perfect. You play an essential role in shaping your care, co-creating the therapeutic experience to find the most effective combination of self exploration vs practical skill development.

At present I am only accepting clients above the age of 18. Sessions will be held via a secure telehealth platform.

I currently do not accept insurance. Sessions will be billed privately.

Come as you are. My goal is to be both a gentle witness and an ally, helping you to find & stand in your power, identifying disparities & restoring balance in your life. I believe you are here because you are ready to value & give yourself a chance to shape your future with your own hands. I couldn't be more hopeful for you.
